A walk through the park

I know I haven't posted everything from my Panama trip, and most likely I won't get it all done before the end of the summer. There are just too many picture and too many things to do before the summer ends.

I just got back from a photo walk about in South Park and I actually was able to get a couple good shots. I will try and post these while I am one the road so I don't have these added to the hundreds of images I must sort through. If I had been smart I would have loaded the Panama shots on the laptop and worked on them while on the road. I guess I am going to need to invest in a Mac version of CS2.

home or hovel...

traffic

I am home from Panama until Friday and them I leave for my annual driving trip to the Midwest part of the USA. Over the next few days I plan on posting the best from my trip before I leave. I am taking my iBook on the road with me so I should be able to post as I go.

my new camera

I took the plunge and invested in a dSLR. It is not my dream camera, but it will do for now. Of course the first thing I shoot is Memphis.

noses

coolest thing I saw all day, Mr. Potato Head!

treasures from the deep?

I love jellyfish, these where kept in a tank with a UV light shining on them, otherwise they would look like blobs of snot floating around in the tank. I guess I feel sorry for them. They should be out in the ocean. Instead they are trapped for our enjoyment.

butterflies are not free

This poor creature was trapped in a "butterfly garden" at EPCOT. It was a screened box that humans could walk through and "interact" with them. What that means is that ugly fat americans let there ugly fat offspring torture these beautiful creatures by chasing after them screaming "MINE! MINE!"

freaky things

I guess these are toys for kids?
