The cathedral in Fatima, I was not impressed. The only god I saw was in the money that exchanged hands as people bought and sold trinkets. The only real symbol of God was cut down to make way for a shrine. The tree that was cut down was the one the Virgin Mary appeared in. In the place of this living thing they placed a modern shrine and a statue of Mary.

God was not home.
